Founder & Lead Criminal Defense Investigator · Bilingual (English & Español)
I was born and raised in Oakland, California. Growing up in underserved communities gave me a perspective that can’t be taught in a classroom. I understand the realities many people face because I lived around them — and I know how to communicate with people from every background, build trust quickly, and ask the questions a case actually turns on.
Today I combine that lived experience with professional investigative training, a master’s degree earned with honors, and years of work alongside defense attorneys and community organizations. My offices are in Pleasant Hill, and I work cases throughout the Bay Area — in English and in Spanish.
My mission is simple: uncover the truth, advocate for fairness, and help ensure every person receives a thorough defense.

What People Get Wrong About Hiring a Private Investigator
Hiring a private investigator can feel intimidating—and let’s be honest, a bit mysterious. Movies and TV have shaped unrealistic expectations, leaving many people confused about what investigators actually do. The result? Costly mistakes, delays, and missed opportunities. Let’s clear the air and break down what people often get wrong.

The Questions Investigators Ask That Change a Case
In many legal cases, the breakthrough doesn’t come from new technology or dramatic evidence—it comes from asking the right questions. Skilled private investigators know that one carefully framed question can expose contradictions, uncover hidden facts, and completely change the direction of a case.

Why Most People Wait Too Long to Hire a Private Investigator
Many people only contact a private investigator when their situation has already escalated—when evidence is lost, witnesses disappear, or legal deadlines are approaching. But in investigations, time is often the most valuable resource. Waiting too long can weaken a case and close doors that could have led to the truth.
